Developing Tiktok Learning Videos as Instructional Media to Engage Students’ Speaking Skills

Currently, social media usage and education are tightly connected. However, teachers students still exposed to new obstacles as the situation changes. In preliminary study, researcher discovered that one of issues was lack student engagement while using technology in learning speaking through online learning. Thus, aim this study is develop a TikTok instructional videos for SMPN 3 Singkawang order engage their skills. The design research development applies ADDIE work procedures (Analysis, Design, Development or Production, Implementation delivery, Evaluation). participants were an English teacher 30 junior high school Singkawang. Qualitative data collected from pre-observation during classes, semi-structured interviews, observation. On other hand, quantitative questionnaires needed analysis, expert judgment, observation sheets implementation phase used Likert scale percentage. material got 55 points 60/93.75%, categorized very good, Media 75 80/91.66%, Very good. score sheet results stage 89,58% which indicated good category use tool Tiktok have proven it could students’
